We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Event Sales Manager to join our Events & Sales Department and report directly to the Director of Events & Entertainment. This full-time role entails managing incoming event inquiries, developing long-lasting client relationships, and driving significant event sales revenue. The ideal candidate will possess at least two years of experience in luxury event sales, preferably within upscale hotels, private clubs, or similarly high-end venues. Familiarity with event management Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, particularly Tripleseat, is highly preferred.
The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for proactively securing new event business across corporate, social, and luxury market segments. They will engage directly with clients, conduct property tours showcasing The Villa’s unique selling points, and collaborate closely with culinary, entertainment, and operations teams to ensure flawless event planning and execution. This role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, a polished professional demeanour, and a keen ability to negotiate complex contracts tailored to suit varied event needs. Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
