The role of Event Sales Manager at Indigo Road is an exciting and pivotal position designed for an individual with a minimum of three years of experience in hospitality sales, particularly in event or catering sales. This position centers around driving revenue growth and elevating the guest experience by managing private dining, restaurants, and large-scale or intimate events. The Event Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize income across all catering and event services. The role requires a combination of operational expertise, strategic sales skills, and exceptional customer service abilities.
As Event Sales Manager, you will lead the entire sales funnel—from initial outreach to the flawless execution of each event—ensuring both client satisfaction and operational excellence. Partnering closely with executive chefs and culinary teams, you'll help design unique dining experiences that stand out in the competitive hospitality landscape. You will also work cross-functionally with marketing, revenue management, and restaurant operations to optimize pricing, inventory, and the overall event experience.
In addition to sales and operational coordination, the Event Sales Manager is expected to build and maintain strong client and industry relationships, analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities, and uphold all company policies concerning sales and safety. This full-time position typically requires working 50 to 55 hours per week, including flexible hours on days, nights, weekends, and holidays, responsive to the seasonal demands of the hospitality industry. - Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in BEO creation and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software
