The role of Sales Manager / Private Event Manager at Fogo de Chao is a dynamic and essential position responsible for growing sales through active prospecting and event planning. This position focuses on targeting businesses, organizations, and associations for group events of 15 or more guests within an assigned restaurant location. The Sales Manager uses their expertise to manage full-cycle sales processes, build long-term client relationships, and deliver exceptional service to each guest. They work closely with the General Manager and restaurant team to strategize and execute local store marketing activities, drive traffic, and create profitable bookings. Utilizing CRM software such as Tripleseat and Open Table, they maintain accurate records of prospects, bookings, and contracts, ensuring streamlined communication and efficient event management. In this capacity, the Sales Manager acts as the primary point of contact for group clients, overseeing the event details from inquiry to booking to final execution. They are responsible for securing client approvals on contracts and event orders and updating the operations team about any changes. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation, presentation abilities, and a strong business acumen to forecast sales and revenue effectively.
