The position entails overseeing a team of parking attendants, including students and contract agency employees, coordinating event logistics, and managing the flow of traffic and parking resources efficiently during live events. As an Event Parking Supervisor, the individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth operational performance during campus events by providing onsite leadership, delivering comprehensive event briefings, and troubleshooting the ParkHub in-lane payment system used for concession and parking transactions. The position does not guarantee a set number of work hours due to the on-call nature and requires strict compliance with uniform policies, operational procedures, and safety guidelines. Supervisors must be prepared to respond to emergent needs as directed by departmental leadership and may need to operate independently or with minimal supervision. Familiarity with campus geography, parking areas, and event logistics is highly advantageous for success in this role.
