The position involves direct customer service to both the university community and external clients, acting as the frontline representative who interacts with faculty, staff, students, and guests. Key responsibilities include answering inquiries, providing directions, fulfilling permit requests, and coordinating daily parking operations, especially related to events and special visitors. The role's primary focus is managing parking inventory for special event visitors while minimizing inconvenience for DU permit holders. It requires careful coordination with multiple campus departments and maintaining a master calendar for parking events. Beyond managing permits, the position entails adjudicating and responding to parking citation appeals, ensuring accurate billing and record-keeping, and often assisting with training new personnel in both office and field duties. This role demands a high level of customer service, communication, and organization skills, as the individual must handle a wide range of tasks including phone and data management, dispute resolution, and financial transaction oversight using systems like PowerPark FLEX. Attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency with Microsoft Office software are crucial for success.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of related work experience in customer service, billing, or scheduling
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to pass a complete background check with no criminal or felony convictions
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
