The role of Event Manager at Oak View Group is a dynamic, full-time position responsible for managing every aspect of assigned events, from the advance planning stages through event completion. The Event Manager works closely with building security and local public safety officials to uphold safety protocols while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and overall event experience. Operating within a flexible schedule that can include nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, this position demands strong leadership skills, keen organizational abilities, and excellent communication. The Event Manager also acts as a liaison between facility users, such as lessees and clients, and the facility staff to facilitate seamless collaboration and problem-solving. The Event Manager is tasked with managing event logistics such as load-in and load-out coordination, facility readiness, and hospitality arrangements, alongside financial tasks including pre-show estimates and post-show settlements. They also oversee staffing levels and performance, ensuring adequate personnel coverage and effective delegation. Key responsibilities include investigating and resolving event-related complaints in a professional manner and ensuring compliance with public safety regulations including fire codes and crowd management protocols. This position offers a competitive annual salary range of $50,000 to $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.   • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with major coursework in facility management, hospitality management, business, or related field
  • one to three (3-5) years of increasingly responsible experience in event management in a stadium, arena, convention center or public assembly facility setting

  • possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid drivers' license
