We are currently seeking a proactive, organized event rental manager to join The Lawrence Hall of Science team. This full-time career position, reporting to the Head of Facilities and Security, focuses on managing and promoting a successful revenue-generating event rental program. The role involves collaborating closely with the marketing team to boost event rentals, coordinating and managing rental events, maintaining the event calendar, and ensuring adequate staffing for events. The position requires strong marketing, planning, and organizational skills, alongside supervisory responsibilities for the Assistant Events incumbent and the BMW Lead. Key responsibilities also include consulting with clients, managing inquiries, showing rental facilities, event planning and management, budgeting, and troubleshooting potential challenges during events.   • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles and practices of event planning and public relations, including event design, organization and production
