This job opportunity is for the position of Event Coordinator, an essential role responsible for creating unforgettable event experiences for guests, especially focusing on birthdays, corporate events, and group activities. The Event Coordinator plays a critical role by partnering with guests to understand their event needs and preferences. This position requires a commitment to delivering excellent service while upholding the company's strict safety and sanitation standards. The Event Coordinator will also engage in sales activities, scheduling, coordinating events, and managing communication systems to support business growth. Compensation for this role ranges from $10.25 to $17.75 per hour, providing a competitive wage aligned with the responsibilities and requirements of the position.
As an Event Coordinator, you will act as an ambassador of fun, warmly welcoming guests and making their celebration visions a reality. You will sell and coordinate various event packages, manage guest information and sales data, and work closely with the sales manager to meet and exceed sales targets. This role demands excellent interpersonal skills, proactive prospecting and cold calling for new and repeat business, and support of local marketing initiatives to drive event sales. Additionally, the day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, performing opening, mid-day, or closing duties, and actively participating in weekly sales meetings.
