The Event Concierge / Coordinator supports several Event Planning Managers by assisting in event planning, detailing event logistics, and serving as a vital liaison between managers and meeting or event planners. Key to this role is the ability to anticipate and address special requests, solve guest concerns promptly, and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event process.
This position demands detailed knowledge of the hotel’s meeting facilities, understanding group dynamics, and managing event-specific details. The day-to-day responsibilities split time between operational duties on the event floor and administrative work in the office, requiring flexibility and a hands-on approach. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, is a key feature of this role. The wage for this position is $27.58 per hour, although individual salaries may vary depending on experience and education.
