Reporting directly to the Environmental Services Supervisor, this position involves working as part of a team to perform project cleaning tasks and support activities in patient care areas, clinical spaces, public zones, and administrative offices. The incumbent plays a crucial role in upholding the standards of cleanliness and infection control within the healthcare setting. Key responsibilities include the upkeep of VCT and carpeted floors utilizing specialized cleaning equipment such as automatic scrubbers, battery burnishers, electrical burnishers, all-purpose matadors, and carpet extractors. The role demands adherence to Environmental Services protocols to ensure that all assigned areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. Employees in this position must exhibit good judgment, decision-making skills, and the ability to work flexibly as part of a collaborative team.
