Draken is currently seeking an experienced Engines / Aerospace Propulsion Supervisor to join its team at the Romanian Air Force (RoAF) F-16 Training Center located at the 86th Air Base near Borcea, Romania. This position is critical to maintaining the reliability and operational readiness of the F-16 A/B model fighter aircraft and their Pratt & Whitney PW-220 engines, which are integral to training RoAF pilots. As a vital member of the maintenance team, the Engines / Aerospace Propulsion Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating all aerospace propulsion activities associated with these cutting-edge training aircraft.
This role demands detailed technical expertise in maintaining engine performance and troubleshooting fuel, electrical, oil, and airflow systems on the F-16 aircraft. The supervisor will ensure that all maintenance activities comply with established technical publications, drawings, and specifications while managing resources effectively to support mission success. A cumulative minimum of eight years’ experience in both organizational and intermediate maintenance levels specifically involving the PW-220 engine and F-16 platform is required. This expertise is critical to diagnosing system issues, assessing component serviceability, and maintaining overall engine health.
The position also necessitates exceptional communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hands-on environment. The successful candidate must be flexible, team-oriented, and open to continuous learning, capable of interpreting English-language technical data and maintaining necessary security clearances.
