The Resort is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Engineer to join its Engineering & Facilities team. This full-time, non-management position plays a crucial role in maintaining the hotel’s physical assets by responding promptly to guest repair requests and ensuring all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems operate efficiently. The Engineer will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex problems, and conduct repairs on a variety of equipment ranging from air conditioning units to kitchen appliances and pool heaters with little supervision. The role demands proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely following company policies and local codes. Engineers at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort must have a broad knowledge base covering air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and more. They are expected to maintain maintenance inventories, requisition parts, and support energy management efforts using advanced engineering software programs. The position also includes responsibilities such as training peers, handling Engineer on Duty duties, and communicating effectively across shifts to ensure smooth operations.
