We are currently seeking a highly skilled Flight Paramedic to join our LifeLine Colorado Springs team. This is a full-time position with flexible shifts, offering a competitive hourly pay rate based on relevant experience, ranging from $24.11 to $36.17 per hour. The Flight Paramedic plays a critical role in providing expert patient care during air and ground critical care transport, ensuring patient safety and stability during the most vulnerable moments of their medical journey. Responsibilities include managing patient care from initial contact through transfer to the receiving medical team, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, conducting thorough equipment inspections and ensuring all transport vehicles and devices are in optimal condition. The role demands collaborative engagement with multidisciplinary teams and referral agencies to improve patient outcomes and share clinical knowledge. It requires exceptional critical thinking, quick decision-making abilities, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure in dynamic and sometimes high-stress environments.   • High school diploma or GED
  • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
  • Colorado EMT-P certification
  • Flight Paramedic Certification (FP-C)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Completion of one transport professional advanced trauma course such as TPATC, PHTLS, or ITLS
  • Minimum of 5 years paramedic experience
  • Ability to obtain other state licenses within six months of hire
  • Preferred flight or critical care transport experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to operate in high-pressure environments
