This includes sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, emptying trash containers, cleaning restrooms, waxing floors, and maintaining the exterior grounds by mowing lawns and trimming shrubbery. The role requires the use of various custodial hand tools and machines such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, wet/dry vacuums, and lawnmowers. Additionally, the custodian will be tasked with minor repair and maintenance duties like painting and plumbing, contributing to the overall upkeep of the school. Physical demands of the job involve medium lifting and carrying, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing ladders up to 15 feet, kneeling, stooping, and handling tools weighing up to 60 pounds. • High school graduate or GED preferred
