The E-2 Test Weapon System Operator (Aircrew) role at KBR is a vital position supporting the developmental test and evaluation of the E-2C/D aircraft at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland. The operator’s responsibilities include detailed development of test plans and procedures, mission planning and briefing, conducting engineering and functional check flights, evaluating simulators, data collection during flight and ground testing, and interacting with maintenance and engineering teams. Post-flight duties encompass mission debriefing and report preparation, ensuring thorough documentation for future analysis and enhancement of flight test protocols. This role requires working closely with a diverse team consisting of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel. Candidates will primarily operate on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD, with occasional domestic travel required to support flight test activities.   • Bachelor's degree
  • At least ten years of applicable work experience
  • Designation as E-2 Combat Information Center Officer (CICO), Mission Commander (MC), or Air Intercept Controller (AIC)
  • Minimum of 1000 flight hours in Navy aircraft
  • Minimum of 500 flight hours in E-2C/D
  • Ability to pass physical and training qualification requirements including U.S. Navy aviation physiology and water survival
  • Completion of annual FAA Class II flight physical
  • Active secret level security clearance
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and similar software
