The Customer Service Representative (CSR) position is primarily responsible for preparing pizzas for delivery, processing orders both over the phone and in person, and keeping the facility clean to maintain an inviting atmosphere. This role requires team members to operate kitchen equipment such as pizza ovens, bakery ovens, and convection ovens, which necessitates a minimum age of 16 years for candidates. The CSR position is an entry-level hourly role that offers on-the-job orientation and training to help new team members quickly adapt and perform their duties effectively.
Employees in this role will be engaged in various essential tasks ranging from stocking and preparing ingredients, managing telephone and in-person orders, cleaning equipment and work areas, and complying with safety and quality standards at all times. Users will be expected to have fundamental math skills to handle monetary transactions accurately and to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Physical capabilities such as standing for long periods, lifting heavy ingredients and supplies (up to 50 pounds), and working under varying temperature conditions—from cool storage areas to hot oven environments—are critical to performing this job efficiently.
Additionally, the CSR may be required to perform delivery duties if qualified, which includes operating a vehicle safely, navigating delivery areas, and interacting courteously with customers at their doorsteps. Practical navigation skills and the ability to handle multiple deliveries per shift are essential for the delivery component of this role.
