The Dishwasher position at Oak View Group plays a vital role in maintaining the hygiene and sanitation of all tableware, serving materials, cooking equipment, and small wares used in food service operations. This essential role supports the smooth functioning of high-volume events by ensuring that clean and sanitized items are available at all times. The Dishwasher is required to maintain excellent attendance and be ready to work events as scheduled based on the business needs. This hourly role offers a competitive wage between $14.00 and $18.00 and is classified as a part-time position with benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan and matching contributions. The position remains open until December 31, 2025.
The Dishwasher's responsibilities emphasize the highest levels of sanitation and safety to avoid contamination risks. This includes rigorously washing and sanitizing all items, applying safety standards such as MSDS criteria, food, and product safety procedures, and adhering to food and beverage policies. The role also involves removing trash promptly, keeping loading, and receiving areas clean and safe, restocking clean items such as plates, glasses, pots, utensils, and pans, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitization across all food service areas and equipment. - High School diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- Experience working in a casual and/or fine dining atmosphere helpful
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
