Located at the Anaheim Marriott in California, the Food and Beverage & Culinary department is currently offering a full-time, non-management position working day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization that guests and staff alike expect at a Marriott property. The hourly pay rate for this position is $27.15. This role involves operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand-washing stations, pot-scrubbing stations, and trash compactors. The successful candidate will be responsible for washing and sanitizing the kitchen area and storage rooms, including tables, utensils, knives, and other equipment. Key tasks include receiving and properly storing perishable deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness, and ensuring that clean dishes are stored in designated areas. Use of chemical detergents and disinfectants is a critical part of duties performed at the three-compartment sink for washing dishes, with attention to inspection, stacking, and re-washing as needed. Additional responsibilities include sorting, soaking, and washing flatware and classifying dirty containers. Waste management is essential, involving emptying trash bins, maintaining the trash deposit area, recycling cardboard and glass, and keeping all departments clean by sweeping and mopping floors. Safety and security are paramount; the employee must comply with company safety policies, report accidents and hazardous conditions, and participate in training programs. Physical aspects of the role require frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds.
