Reporting directly to the Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or Executive Chef, the Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety guidelines, as well as the ability to work efficiently as part of a larger culinary team. The Dishwasher supports kitchen staff by providing clean and sanitized utensils and equipment, assisting with food preparation tasks, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area. In this role, the Dishwasher will operate dishwashing machines, hand wash various kitchen items, and maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing and kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning kitchen appliances and surfaces. Additionally, the Dishwasher monitors and restocks cleaning supplies and reports any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues, ensuring compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in dishwashing or kitchen support role
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
• Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity
