The role available within Atria’s culinary team is essential in maintaining the highest quality dining experience for residents. This position focuses on ensuring cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and dining areas, helping to create a safe and sanitary environment in which culinary services can excel. As a key member of the team, the individual will work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director to uphold the standards of Atria’s restaurant-style dining atmosphere. Responsibilities will include washing, cleaning, sanitizing, and storing all kitchen equipment and dining utensils, as well as maintaining floors, equipment, and other kitchen areas. The role also involves supporting special dining events, assisting cooks and wait staff, managing dishroom operations, and adhering to strict food safety and cleaning schedules. This is a physically active position that demands attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork skills to help ensure the culinary staff delivers an exceptional dining experience to residents.
Offered on a full-time or part-time basis, this position provides an hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $19.80, dependent on prior work history and experience. - High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a kitchen or dishroom environment preferred
