We are currently hiring Dishwashers for the 2026 season, a pivotal role on board ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness of the shipboard galley. This temporary, 28-week position offers an excellent entry point into the cruise and hospitality industry, providing hands-on experience within a dynamic environment. As a Dishwasher, you'll be responsible for maintaining the sanitation of all cutlery, glassware, dishes, and galley areas to the highest standards. You'll also handle food deliveries and ensure that the commercial dishwashing equipment operates efficiently, reporting any issues promptly to maintain smooth operations. This role is more than just cleaning; Dishwashers at American Cruise Lines contribute to the overall guest experience by fostering a welcoming atmosphere and supporting various galley and event operations. You will have opportunities to engage directly with guests, assist during special onboard events such as afternoon teas and evening entertainment, and support the team in creating memorable moments for travelers exploring America's waterways. • Must be at least eighteen years of age
• American citizen or Green Card holder
• willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, up to 28 weeks
• able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
• pre-employment drug test required including marijuana and controlled substances
• no alcohol consumption allowed onboard
• adherence to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
