We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team at Rockhurst High School, located at 9301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO. This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with some evenings and weekends to be determined. The pay rate for this role is $17.00 per hour. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining the proper cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils. This position ensures that all kitchen items are cleaned efficiently and effectively by hand or through designated dishwashing equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for adhering to strict safety and sanitation protocols to guarantee a safe and hygienic environment. Responsibilities include scraping and rinsing food debris from dishes, washing and polishing kitchenware, keeping the dishwashing station orderly, and ensuring compliance with all safety standards and chemical level maintenance. Beyond the operational duties, the Dishwasher supports the overall kitchen function by assisting with stock transfers, waste removal, and maintaining cleanliness of food preparation surfaces. To succeed in this role, candidates should preferably have a Kansas City Food Handlers certificate. Uniforms, laundering services, and free meals are provided at some locations as a part of the employee benefits.
