The responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and storing all kitchen and dining equipment such as dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. The employee will take charge of cleaning floors and other kitchen equipment and areas as assigned, helping to maintain a hygienic and safe environment essential in a senior living community. The role also involves supporting dining programs by collaborating closely with the Director of Culinary Services and Executive Director, ensuring that residents remain satisfied with the quality and service of their food. Additionally, the individual in this position will contribute to promoting a restaurant-style dining atmosphere, reflecting Atria’s commitment to enhancing the living experience through quality dining services. They will assist in the preparation and execution of dining enhancement programs, special events, banquets, and themed meals, adding to the vibrant community life. Maintaining the dish machine after each meal by cleaning and monitoring sanitizing temperatures and parts per million levels is another key responsibility, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards. The role requires adherence to scheduled cleaning routines and quality enhancement standards that support resident satisfaction and safety. As part of the team, the employee will assist cooks and wait staff when requested, play a role in the transportation and storage of food and supplies, and attend pre-meal kitchen meetings to align with the team.
