Racine Country Club is currently seeking a Dishwasher to join their professional and dedicated hospitality team. This role involves essential kitchen responsibilities, primarily focused on maintaining cleanliness and order in the dishwashing and kitchen areas. The ideal candidate will be friendly, responsible, motivated, and enthusiastic about contributing to an exceptional member experience. The dishwasher will mainly work in the evenings from 3 pm until closing, Tuesday through Saturday, for approximately 20 to 30 hours per week. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour.
In this role, the dishwasher will be responsible for washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashers or hand washing techniques to ensure all kitchenware is spotlessly clean and ready for use. The dishwasher must maintain a clean and organized kitchen work environment, including proper storage of clean items and disposal of trash to designated areas. Additional duties include sweeping and scrubbing floors, stocking supplies at serving stations or storage areas, and assisting cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
The successful candidate will have at least six months of dishwashing experience, preferably gained in a hospitality or food service setting. They will display strong attention to detail, knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is also essential.
