The Dishwasher role at SpaceX is a crucial position within the company's food services team, supporting the daily operational efficiency of their kitchen environments. Dishwashers ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are properly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for continuous use throughout the day. This position involves rotating work stations at multiple food service outlets, requiring flexibility and teamwork. Dishwashers contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace in all dining areas, kitchens, and associated department spaces. The dishwasher position offers a competitive base salary starting at $22.00 per hour. The compensation package extends beyond hourly pay, including eligibility for long-term incentives such as company stock options, discretionary bonuses, and participation in the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. This position requires availability to work morning shifts, flexibility for overtime, and weekend work when necessary. Physical stamina is essential due to long periods of standing, heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds), and frequent bending or stooping. Dishwashers are expected to manage dishwashing equipment efficiently, maintain cleanliness in work areas, organize supplies and utensils appropriately, and assist with light food preparation duties. As part of U.S. Government export regulations, eligibility to work at SpaceX requires U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency status or other qualifying immigration status to comply with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
