This position is for a Dishwasher, crucial to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the Park District's facility operations. The role involves ensuring all dishes, glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils are cleaned to high standards using both machine and manual cleaning methods. The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining hygiene by upholding a clean, safe, and sanitary dishwashing area. This position requires a minimum age of 16 and emphasizes the importance of understanding and following safety and chemical usage instructions. The dishwasher will also be expected to polish silverware, clean and maintain the dishwashing machine, manage kitchen work areas, and properly store cleaned items. Additional duties include waste management, floor cleaning, produce handling, and adhering to dress and grooming standards to maintain a professional appearance.
The role is part-time, offering approximately 25-28 hours per week, which include varying shifts during days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation starts at $17.00 per hour, with a salary range from $15.00 to $22.50 per hour depending on experience and performance.
