This full-time position reports directly to the Restaurant General Manager and plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the restaurant’s kitchen and banquet areas. As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of all kitchenware, including china, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans. The role involves breaking down boxes, managing trash disposal, and assisting with the cleaning of kitchen walls, floors, ovens, and refrigerators to maintain a hygienic environment. This physically demanding position requires the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform various maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and ensuring safety compliance in the kitchen area. Attention to detail is crucial as you will need to monitor the dishwashing machine's temperature to guarantee proper sanitization, keep floors dry and free from debris, and assist with inventory management by unloading shipments and properly storing items.
