The Director of Special Events role at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a pivotal position responsible for leading and managing all aspects of company events, ranging from grand openings and brand collaborations to influencer activations and high-profile experiential events. This leadership role requires developing and implementing strategic event initiatives that drive brand awareness, increase attendance, and foster business growth. The successful candidate will be located in South Florida or nearby, allowing for hybrid work with in-person collaboration as needed at the company’s Miami locations.
In this role, the Director will be tasked with creating comprehensive and scalable event strategies, including detailed run-of-show templates that enhance the brand’s presence and guest experience. They will oversee the planning and execution of a wide variety of events, from inclusive, family-friendly occasions to exclusive VIP experiences. Ensuring all events align closely with Lucky Strike’s brand positioning, business objectives, and customer engagement goals is essential.
Logistical oversight is another critical component of the role, requiring the Director to manage event production smoothly and deliver flawless guest experiences. This includes cultivating strong partnerships with brand collaborators, coordinating with cross-functional teams in marketing, public relations, and social media to maximize event visibility and earned media coverage. An innovative mindset is highly valued, as the Director will continuously evaluate and refine event concepts to keep them fresh, engaging, and aligned with the evolving entertainment landscape.
With a minimum requirement of seven years of experience in national event marketing, experiential marketing, or special events within relevant industries like entertainment, hospitality, or lifestyle, the ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in executing large-scale events. Essential qualifications include strong vendor negotiation skills, event budgeting, and the ability to work seamlessly across multiple company departments and external partners. The role demands excellent organizational and project management skills and availability to travel up to 60 percent of the time.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, event management, business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in national event marketing, experiential marketing, or special events within entertainment, hospitality, or lifestyle industries
- Proven expertise in planning and executing large-scale events
- Strong background in vendor negotiation, production logistics, and event budgeting
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders across the company including sales, food and beverage, and onsite operators, as well as external vendors
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Able to travel up to 60%
