Currently, InnVentures seeks a highly motivated Director of Sales to join their team. This role calls for a competitive individual with the ability to influence and build strong partnerships that drive business growth. The Director of Sales will oversee sales activities across multiple properties within the same market, leading by example to uncover and close new business opportunities. This position requires a strategic thinker who can connect with clients on a meaningful level while fostering lasting relationships. They will play a crucial role in expanding market share and delivering positive financial outcomes for each hotel.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for motivating a sales team by hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring members to reach their potential. This leader will proactively solicit, negotiate, and book new business, ensuring the growth of the customer base by strengthening existing relationships. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to capture clients’ visions, effectively conveying those needs within the hotel operations.

The Director of Sales will also manage sales pipelines, participate in weekly sales meetings, develop strategic marketing and annual plans, and assist with financial reporting as required by management or ownership groups.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, or Marketing and bring at least three years of sales management experience within the hotel industry. Proficiency with sales automation tools such as DELPHI or alternatives, experience engaging with ownership and asset management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with revenue management and operations teams are essential. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and mastery of Microsoft Office applications will ensure success in this demanding but rewarding leadership role. Multitasking and prioritizing departmental functions to meet deadlines are also critical competencies.
