The Director of Sales position at the AC Honolulu property is a vital leadership role responsible for driving and implementing the top-line revenue strategy across various sales segments such as group bookings, volume transient, and catering. This role demands a forward-thinking individual who actively monitors market trends, competitive landscape shifts, and market share movements to maintain and enhance the hotel’s competitive positioning. By leading the property sales teams for rooms and catering, the Director ensures that budgeted revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded. The role entails managing the sales and marketing budget to support revenue goals effectively, making strategic adjustments based on market intelligence. The Director of Sales acts as the primary voice of the customer within the hotel, communicating crucial customer insights, issues, and concerns across all levels of the organization to influence decision-making and enhance guest satisfaction.
