The Director of Sales role at Hilton’s Hampton Inn & Suites Brier Creek presents a dynamic leadership opportunity within the sales department. This position is integral to achieving and surpassing the hotel’s revenue objectives, focusing on occupancy rates and average daily rate (ADR) targets across the property. As a hands-on manager, the Director of Sales plays a pivotal role in securing business, qualifying leads, and driving revenue growth through effective team development and strategic management. This leader will work closely with the General Manager and other key stakeholders to optimize room inventory, manage marketing initiatives, and develop sales plans that align with Hilton’s brand standards. The role also emphasizes maintaining strong relationships within the local business community and ensuring timely communication with clients to uphold Hilton’s high standards. The position requires active participation in forecasting, market analysis, and competitive strategy to maximize revenue opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include providing training and leadership to the sales team, promoting a fair and harassment-free workplace, and collaborating with management to continuously improve hotel operations and guest satisfaction. - six to twelve months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read, write, perform mathematical computations such as adding and multiplying
- ability to effectively communicate with guests, utilizing tact and diplomacy and solve practical problems
- ability to stand, walk, talk, listen, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms
- ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 25-35 pounds
- ability to focus while staying on feet and moving about freely including bending and climbing stairs
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
