The position of Director, Event Technology II (DET II) at Encore is a dynamic leadership role responsible for managing both sales and operations teams to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets for one or more assigned venues. This role oversees venues generating between $1 million and $8 million in revenue and reports to either a Regional Director of Venues or a Regional Vice President of Venues. The DET II is tasked with ensuring the delivery of world-class service to clients while maintaining and enhancing relationships with key venue personnel to strengthen business partnerships. A critical aspect of this role involves promoting a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team, with an emphasis on collaboration, learning, and a steadfast commitment to quality. This leadership position requires a strategic mindset to drive financial results, optimize operational efficiency, and foster customer satisfaction. The Director is accountable for managing the operational aspects of event technology services, including staff scheduling, equipment logistics, and budgeting to maintain profitability.   • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of audio visual experience
  • 3+ years of operations supervisory or management experience
  • 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • sales experience is a plus
  • working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environment
  • Ops 200 and Leadership 200 certification
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with computer software and programs including Internet and Microsoft Office
