The role of Director and General Manager of FBO Services at Jet Aviation’s Teterboro location in New Jersey represents a pivotal leadership position within the company’s global operations. This is an onsite management role within the Fixed Base Operations category, where the selected individual will be directly responsible for the strategic leadership, safety management, and financial oversight of Jet Aviation's flagship FBO facility. Reporting to the Vice President of FBO Operations, the individual will oversee the full profit and loss responsibility for the Teterboro facility, working to drive revenue growth through innovative service offerings and efficient resource use while maintaining stringent cost controls. This leadership position requires robust collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Completions, Finance, HR, and Marketing as well as with critical external stakeholders including airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and key vendors. The Director and GM will champion a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence, embedding rigorous training programs, regular audits, and open feedback forums to inspire the team to surpass industry standards in service and safety. With a competitive salary range of $170,000 to $200,000 plus a potential performance-based bonus of up to 20%, this role offers a compelling opportunity to lead a high-impact operation in a dynamic, 24/7 aviation environment. Candidates should expect a thorough multi-stage interview process with Jet Aviation’s executive leaders and key stakeholders, emphasizing the company's commitment to safety, security, and selecting the best leaders. Eligible employees enjoy comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, disability and life insurance, employee assistance programs, wellness awards, generous paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee discounts, supporting a well-rounded employee experience both inside and outside of work.
