The Food Service Worker position is a full-time role based in Colorado Springs, with a salary range from $3,661 to $5,125 monthly. The position requires an individual capable of performing a variety of duties related to food preparation, sanitation, daily operations, customer service, and communication. Primary responsibilities include baking from scratch, preparing food for meals, setting up serving lines, and ensuring the attractiveness and taste of all food served. The Food Service Worker must maintain proper sanitation and food handling protocols, ensure kitchen cleanliness, and uphold safety and storage standards. Additionally, the role involves coordinating food orders, monitoring kitchen equipment, maintaining production logs, and assisting with inventories. Effective communication is crucial, as the worker must engage courteously with students, staff, and families, utilize American Sign Language at a survival skill level or be willing to learn, and collaborate with the Food Service Manager and other kitchen staff.
