The successful candidate will manage 3-6 managers along with all hourly team members on the floor and in the kitchen, ensuring that all operational and financial goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of service and atmosphere. Key responsibilities include managing all daily restaurant operations, supervising managers and team members, handling profit and loss centers, and aligning all behavior with the company’s values. The role involves identifying growth opportunities to increase sales, traffic, and repeat business through effective marketing and local initiatives. Staffing needs are analyzed to ensure a talented and motivated team, with ongoing coaching and development provided for both managers and hourly employees. The restaurant leader will ensure compliance with legal and safety standards, address guest service issues proactively, and perform financial and payroll duties accurately. Decision-making authority includes hiring and terminating team members, managing wage decisions with HR input, and handling employee and guest relations issues in collaboration with appropriate departments. This role influences manager terminations, sales growth strategies, and budgeting activities in partnership with the Director of Operations. Success measures for this position include guest satisfaction, revenue growth, cost control, staffing levels and turnover rates, and the growth and promotion of team members within the organization. With a preferred educational requirement being a 4-year college degree and a minimum of two years of experience in restaurant management—especially familiarity with TGI Friday's recipes, standards, and operational processes—this role demands a hands-on leader proficient in both frontline duties and managerial systems. The ideal candidate must exhibit strong competencies in talent assessment and selection, coaching, leadership, adaptability to change, communication, execution management, guest passion, financial acumen, and problem-solving.
