Currently, Cajun Ready Mix Concrete is seeking dedicated and responsible Ready Mix Drivers to join their expanding team on a full-time basis. This role is vital to the company’s operations, as Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for transporting concrete mix from the batch plants to various work sites efficiently and safely. The drivers operate rear discharge mixer trucks, ensuring the integrity and quality of the concrete during transit and accurately discharging the concrete load at the construction site. The position requires physical dexterity, as drivers may need to handle and attach extension chutes weighing between thirty to fifty pounds to the end of the primary chute, facilitating precise delivery of concrete. This role requires a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols. Drivers will need to navigate construction sites and maintain communication with site managers and dispatchers to ensure timely and effective deliveries.
