Cardinal Health is a global, integrated healthcare services and products company dedicated to improving the cost-effectiveness of healthcare. With a comprehensive portfolio that spans pharmaceutical and medical products distribution, medical supply chain management, and innovative data solutions, Cardinal Health serves hospitals, pharmacies, ambulatory surgery centers, clinical laboratories, and physician offices with greater efficiency and safety. The company is known for its commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation, supporting the vital work of healthcare providers and ensuring patients have access to critical medications and products. This specific role is part of Cardinal Health's Nuclear Pharmacy Services, a specialized segment focused on the preparation and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals used under strict Federal and State regulations. This role is essential for ensuring that critical medications reach healthcare providers on time and in compliance with rigorous safety protocols. The job schedule consists of a 40-hour workweek, covering weekend early shifts as well as weekday hours from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Flexibility is required for occasional Sundays, holidays, and potential overtime to meet business needs. The hourly pay rate is $19.50, and while this role is not bonus eligible, Cardinal Health offers an extensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, health savings accounts, a 401k savings plan, and other wellness and financial programs to support the employee's overall well-being. Employees are expected to handle physical demands such as managing loads up to 75 pounds and driving in varied weather conditions, demonstrating strong customer service skills, and adhering to all safety regulations in a nuclear environment. Prior delivery driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to use mobile devices for navigation and order processing are important. The role requires reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding the standards of quality and compliance that Cardinal Health champions.
