The Delivery Driver will be responsible for operating vehicles with a gross vehicle weight over 10,000 pounds, but not requiring a commercial driver's license (CDL), ensuring shipments are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to various destinations such as job sites, customer facilities, and vendor locations. The role demands a high level of attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering strictly to company policies and applicable regulations. In this role, the Delivery Driver will load and unload merchandise with care to prevent damage or loss, secure loads properly, verify shipping documentation, and handle payment collections when applicable. The driver must inspect the vehicle daily, report any mechanical issues promptly, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the truck.
