The Contract Instructor Pilot position at F35 TSS LEMOORE is a full-time role designed for highly qualified professionals with military background and extensive flight experience in strike fighter aircraft such as the F-15E and the F-18 series. This role involves supporting pilot training by facilitating sessions using the F-35 Full Mission Simulator and providing expert instruction in academic settings. Candidates will act as subject matter experts (SMEs) on advanced aviation systems, utilizing their deep knowledge to aid in the development and delivery of training materials that enhance pilot skills and mission effectiveness. The instructor participates in hands-on simulation exercises via the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) to ensure pilots are proficient with aircraft operation and tactical execution under various mission scenarios. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree paired with significant professional experience in military aviation, particularly in strike fighter platforms, and hold a transferable secret security clearance with eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP) access.
