The position available is for an experienced Fleet Representative to join the F135 Propulsion team located at the Lightning Sustainment Center Global Operations Center (GOC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This is an onsite role that demands a highly motivated, self-sufficient individual adept at managing a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced, demanding military aviation environment. The role is integral to the sustainment and operational readiness of the F-35 Lightning II propulsion systems, a critical defense program that is expanding rapidly with over 100 aircraft added annually. As the Fleet Representative, you will act as the primary liaison for all fleet propulsion-related issues, representing the F135 propulsion interests within the Global Operations Center and collaborating extensively with internal teams such as Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, and external customers. Your responsibilities include improving overall F135 availability, managing Non-Mission Capable (NMC) aircraft propulsion status, maintaining accurate and timely status documentation, and facilitating communications between various stakeholders and leadership. The role also requires supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards, and ensuring data flow for decision-making processes. The successful candidate will thrive in a 24/7 operational setting, potentially working different shifts that include weekdays, weekends, and holidays, and adapting to occasional casual overtime.
