Currently, SBM Management is seeking to hire a reliable and hardworking Custodian/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join their expanding team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of their facilities while delivering outstanding customer service. The Custodian/CSR must possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with coworkers and fostering a welcoming environment for customers. Responsibilities include performing routine custodial tasks such as floor care, surface maintenance, waste removal, and light maintenance duties. Additionally, the employee will follow strict safety protocols, use personal protective equipment, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
The Custodian/CSR position involves multiple tasks ranging from cleaning and sanitizing various surfaces, handling trash and recycling, assisting with restocking supplies, to minor maintenance activities like replacing light bulbs. The employee’s work impacts both the appearance of the company’s premises and the overall satisfaction of its clients and staff. The role demands attentiveness, good judgment, and the ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions clearly. Communication skills are key to this position, as the individual may be required to explain work processes and assist in training others.
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $17.75 and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.                 - Reliable transportation
 - less than high school education or up to one month related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
 - ability to read 2-3 syllable words, recognize similarities and differences between words and series of numbers
 - ability to print clearly and speak simple sentences
 - ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, managers, and customers
 - knowledge of basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with 10s and 100s
 - knowledge of American measures of money, weight, size, length, and volume
 - valid driver's license if driving own or company vehicle
 - proof of vehicle registration and insurance if driving
