The role available is a full-time janitorial support position within the company's operations department. This role focuses on supporting janitorial functions by performing essential cleaning and maintenance duties within various buildings. The ideal candidate for this role is detail-oriented, responsible, and dedicated to ensuring that work areas are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Their typical responsibilities include dusting furniture such as desks, chairs, counters, and blinds; cleaning lobbies, reception areas, and other assigned locations; vacuuming floors; spot cleaning surfaces; refilling supplies such as dispensers; and properly disposing of waste and recycling materials. Candidates will be expected to work efficiently and safely using established cleaning methods with appropriate equipment and chemicals. Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment, is critical to this position. The role requires regular attendance and physical presence due to the nature of janitorial services involving face-to-face interactions and teamwork. Being proactive in assisting janitorial staff with special projects or other duties as directed by supervisors is an integral part of the job. The position also demands the physical ability to handle tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted, extended periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, and working in variable temperature conditions found inside and outside the buildings. • Basic knowledge of standard janitorial duties, cleaning techniques, products and equipment preferred
• High school diploma/GED required or equivalent work experience in lieu of
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have ability to read and interpret documents such as but not limited to safety data sheets (SDS), operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, etc.
• Must be able to understand and to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to multitask in a fast pace work environment
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
