Valets coordinate traffic by managing the arrival and departure of vehicles, communicating efficiently with guests regarding procedures and directions, and maintaining awareness of parking lot conditions including monitoring for illegal parking and predicting peak traffic periods. They assist guests with loading and unloading, ensuring that guest keys are securely collected and stored, and handle payment transactions with accuracy and professionalism. Valets are expected to comply with all traffic laws, facility policies, and pedestrian regulations, operating both standard and automatic transmission vehicles safely. The role demands working outdoors in all weather conditions and maintaining a clean work environment.
