The salary range for this position is competitive, estimated between $15.34 and $24.29 per hour, reflecting experience and job level. In this position, the Customs Trade Specialist will serve as the pivotal liaison for importers by coordinating and processing all necessary documents required for the entry of goods into the United States. The specialist ensures accuracy in classification of goods, works with specialized commodities requiring detailed processing to minimize duties and penalties, and maintains up-to-date records in accordance with federal regulations. Customer service excellence is paramount, requiring the specialist to collaborate closely with internal departments, external customers, carriers, brokers, and various government agencies.
