The position available is for a Customs Entry Specialist with advanced experience in brokerage operations. This permanent role calls for expertise in preparing and processing customs entries, adhering to regulations such as the Harmonized Tariff Schedules and government agency clearances. The Customs Entry Specialist will manage entry writing, coordinate freight deliveries, and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving. This role demands an individual who can navigate complex customs laws and regulations while ensuring compliance and timely processing of shipments. Working within a dynamic team, the specialist will also handle documentation discrepancies and contribute to financial reconciliation processes. The role includes weekend and holiday work on a rotational basis to meet operational demands. Candidates who possess a Customer Broker License and proficiency in Microsoft Office are preferred. - High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience working for a customs broker
- Basic knowledge of customs operations, laws and regulations, and other government departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Customers Broker License preferred
- Accurate and rapid data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
