The Customer Service Representative position at K9 Kampus, a part of Destination Pet, offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to become the friendly, approachable, and highly organized face of the facility. This role is not your typical front-desk job; it requires a blend of concierge skills, chaos coordination, and fluency in communicating effectively with both humans and pets. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple tasks including answering phones, welcoming clients and their furry companions, and ensuring smooth operations throughout the day. This position is part-time and offers a starting pay of $14.50 per hour DOE (depending on experience), plus tips. In this role, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for creating an exceptional first impression by greeting clients and their pets warmly, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling payments accurately, and providing insightful tours of the facility to new clients to help promote the services offered. The role involves physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting up to 40 pounds, and occasional handling of pet-related tasks including wrangling leashes and managing minor clean-ups. Candidates must be comfortable with exposure to pet hair, cleaning supplies, and occasional pet accidents. Flexibility is essential as the job requires availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the needs of pets who don't take days off.
