The Culinary Server Lead role at Oak Trace is a dynamic position within Lifespace's Culinary Leadership team, offering hourly pay ranging from $16.25 to $22.34. This role is pivotal in managing daily culinary service operations while nurturing a high level of resident and guest satisfaction. The Culinary Server Lead will be responsible for directing daily coverage, ensuring adequate team presence, and stepping in to fill roles as necessary to maintain smooth service. Orientation and training of new team members is also a crucial part of the role, focusing on department procedures and the proper use of culinary equipment. Engagement with residents and guests is a vital responsibility, welcoming them warmly to culinary venues and coordinating seating arrangements to enhance their dining experience. The role requires accurate and efficient order taking using point-of-sale technology as well as managing to-go and take-out orders. The Culinary Server Lead also performs oversight duties such as auditing server assignments for completeness, providing performance feedback, and maintaining timely delivery of room service orders while ensuring all trays are retrieved post-service. Additionally, the role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in dining areas by clearing tables promptly, resetting table settings with care, and facilitating a welcoming ambiance in the culinary spaces.
