The role at Highgate Hotels is for a Room Attendant position based at the Courtyard Folsom located at 2575 Iron Point Road in Folsom, CA. This position is hourly paid with a wage range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour, depending on experience. The Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction within the hotel's guestrooms and public areas. This position requires an individual dedicated to providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, ensuring each guest experiences a clean and comfortable stay.
Responsibilities for this role include thoroughly cleaning guestrooms to meet company standards, completing all pre-cleaning duties including stocking guest and cleaning supplies, and managing the housekeeping cart setup. The Room Attendant will be responsible for removing all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and public areas, keeping hallways, public spaces, and closets neat and vacuumed. They are also tasked with restocking the housekeeping cleaning cart and replenishing chemical bottles to ensure readiness for the next day's operations.
The Room Attendant must report any missing items such as irons, boards, and hair dryers to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager, as well as immediately report maintenance needs. Handling lost and found items according to company standards and ensuring overall guest satisfaction are also key elements of the job. Physical stamina is essential as the role requires standing throughout the shift and the ability to exert significant physical force when moving objects.
