Chase Center and the Golden State Warriors represent a premier sports and entertainment organization located in San Francisco, California. Known as the home of the Golden State Warriors NBA team, the Chase Center is a state-of-the-art arena that hosts a variety of events, including professional basketball games, concerts, private events, and community engagements. Alongside the Warriors brand, the organization also supports the Valkyries, a women’s basketball team, offering a diverse roster of events that enrich the local community and foster sports and entertainment experiences of the highest caliber. As part of a forward-looking and dynamic team, the Coordinator role at Chase Center offers a remarkable opportunity for individuals passionate about event production and project management. This full-time, onsite position based in San Francisco requires a dedicated professional to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events from start to finish. You will be instrumental in managing logistics for a wide array of events taking place not only at the Chase Center and Thrive City but also at various offsite venues. Your work will directly impact how the Warriors and Valkyries brands are perceived, ensuring that each event delivers exceptional audience engagement and strengthens the organization’s reputation. Your responsibilities will include acting as the primary liaison with both internal teams and external clients, guiding them seamlessly through the event lifecycle. This encompasses everything from initial conceptualization and logistical planning to on-site management and post-event reporting. You will have the chance to engage with numerous departments, vendors, and external partners, creating detailed project timelines, managing budgets, securing necessary permits, and overseeing event production quality to align perfectly with the brand’s rigorous standards. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and between one to two years of hands-on experience coordinating large and high-profile events, ideally within the hospitality or corporate event industry. Proven leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD will support your success in this position. Emphasis on proactive problem-solving and the capacity to handle fast-paced, multifaceted workloads will be vital. The role also requires a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the demanding nature of event management in a busy entertainment environment. Beyond the career growth potential, the role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $27.00, supplemented with bonus opportunities. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their dependents, a 401K employer match, generous paid time off policies inclusive of parental leave, and unique perks such as Warriors game tickets and team store discounts. The Golden State Warriors organization champions diversity and inclusion, committing to equal opportunities and accommodations for all applicants and employees. Joining Chase Center and the Golden State Warriors means becoming part of a vibrant culture that values initiative, collaboration, and excellence. You will contribute to meaningful events that energize fans and community members alike while advancing your expertise in the growing sports and entertainment industry.
