The full-time Dietary Cook position at Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, timely food service tailored to meet the dietary needs of residents. This role involves strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, ensuring that all food preparation and kitchen maintenance practices meet rigorous safety and sanitation standards. Dietary Cooks are responsible for following specific menus and preparing a variety of foods and beverages, including soups, stocks, sauces, and main dishes using standardized recipes. The position demands organizational skills to complete tray service efficiently and maintain the cleanliness and safety of kitchen equipment and surfaces. Moreover, the Dietary Cook must handle food storage correctly and ensure that all food is prepared according to special diet orders while preserving food quality, temperature, and appearance. This role requires experience and knowledge in a culinary setting, preferably with a background in hotels, restaurants, clubs, or similar establishments.
